Regis College Presidential Catholic Schools Scholarship for Fall 2021

Regis College is eagerly inviting highly motivated students across the country to participate in its fantastic Presidential Catholic Schools Scholarship exclusively open for fall 2021. Students, who carry the values of the Sisters of Saint Joseph of Boston, and also want to enrol in an undergraduate course at this college, are encouraged to apply.

This is a prestigious four years-long funding programme targeted at finding top talents from around the United States and encouraging them to study at Regis College by covering full-tuition of their chosen undergraduate course. The scholarship will recognize and reward the efforts of individuals serving society.

Regis College is a well-established Catholic liberal arts college located in the heart of Weston, MA. It is one of the leading colleges of its kind in the country. It has been providing transformational education to approximately 1,900 students. It is divided into three colleges. Earlier, it was opened as a catholic women’s college in 1927 but in 2007, it becomes a co-educational institution and started admitting men. The motive of the college is to provide the right education of students so that they can contribute to making the world a better place.

Who May Be Eligible?

Candidates who fulfil the following requirements will be selected for this wonderful opportunity:

  • Aspirants must have a cumulative recalculated high school Grade Point Average (GPA) of at least 3.7. The Regis College Office of Undergraduate Admission recalculates GPAs on a weighted 4.0 scale;
  • Candidates must have attended a Catholic high school;
  • Students must be applying for undergraduate admission as a first-year via Early Action no later than January 1st, 2021;
  • Applicants must be residential students (living on campus);
  • Students applying to the Regis Fast Track 3 Year Program are not eligible to apply for this scholarship. Regis will not consider students who do not satisfy these criteria.

How to Apply

To qualify for this scholarship, applicants are advised to enrol in an approved undergraduate degree programme at Regis College first. The nomination form of the candidates must be completed by their principal, headmaster, or guidance counsellor by January 1, 2021. All qualified applicants will be asked to provide a 2-3 pages essay responding with their recommendation form on January 1st, 2021.

The decision will be made based on the nomination, admission application, and written reflection and selected students will move forward to the interview process.

Supporting Documents

As a supporting document, candidates can submit an essay of 2 to 3 pages with their nomination form.

The scholarship will benefit students by covering full-tuition for an eligible undergraduate degree programme. The award will be available for all qualified aspirants throughout their chosen course. Apart from this, recipients of this scholarship programme will also get the chance to participate in ongoing co-curricular activities.
