WNC Regional Scholarships

The Community Foundation of Western North Carolina is offering you a WNC Regional Scholarships. Applicants must be graduating seniors of a qualifying school defined as follows: a WNC public high school, the NC School of Science and Mathematics, the UNC School of the Arts, or a WNC homeschool registered with the North Carolina Division of Non-Public Education. $1,000; recipients create a pool from which finalists are selected to interview for several renewable scholarships, worth up to $5,000 per year for four years

USAC Regional Scholarship

University Studies Abroad Consortium is providing you a USAC Regional Scholarship. Scholarships are available for each of the five geographic regions with USAC programs (Europe, Asia, Latin America, Africa, and Oceania). All students with a minimum 3.0 GPA are eligible to apply. Multiple awards ranging from $500-$1,000 will be awarded each semester.

Regional Scholarships

Regional/Chapter Undergraduate Scholarship

ASHRAE is pleased to announce you a Regional/Chapter Undergraduate Scholarship. Scholarships are available to full-time undergraduate engineering or pre-engineering students pursuing a Bachelor of Science or Engineering degree in a course of study that has traditionally been a preparatory curriculum for the HVAC&R profession. Its award amount is $3,000 – $5,000.

“William & Mary” is unlike any other university in America. William & Mary is proud to announce the Hixon Family Endowed Scholarship and Full Undergraduate Study Scholarship. The programs are open to undergraduate freshmen student and undergraduate transfer student (students who began undergraduate study in the US or abroad and will complete their bachelor’s degree at W&M).

Boren Awards is offering you a Boren Scholarship Basics. It is open for U.S. undergraduate students to study less commonly taught languages in world regions critical to U.S. interests, and underrepresented in study abroad, including Africa, Asia, Central and Eastern Europe, Eurasia, Latin America, and the Middle East. The countries of Western Europe, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand are excluded. Its total award amount is $38000.

PSU Regional Student Program

Plymouth State University participates in a regional cooperative program administered by the New England Board of Higher Education (NEBHE). The Regional Student Program enables residents of New England to attend an out-of-state public college or university within New England at reduced tuition for certain degree programs that are not available within their own state’s institutions. Spring 2018 – Eligible Plymouth State programs are awarded to in-state students and receive in-state merit-based scholarship amounts. Fall 2018 – Eligible Plymouth State programs are offered with out-of-state merit-based scholarship, plus an additional $3,000 tuition waiver.
