Recovery Ways Healthcare Scholarship for Bachelors and Masters

Recovery Ways announced a $1000 Mental Health Scholarship for bachelors and masters students pursuing degrees in health care. These scholarships are awarded twice a year to college students, once in the Fall and once in the Spring. Students enrolled in behavioural health and health care programs at a college or university within the United States of America can apply. Eligible candidates can submit a 500 words essay describing how they will use their health care degree to help members in their communities, how the funds will help students pursue their long-term goals, why they should be considered for the scholarship and any examples of how they have embodied life of helping members in their communities.

Scholarships are presented to outstanding students for their achievements in their respective fields. However, students who have the best essays can also have an opportunity to apply and win a scholarship to use as financial aids for their educational expenses. Students who were awarded scholarships can pay for their tuition without having to worry over side jobs or splitting their time and effort between their job and education. Students can solely focus on their education and receive the best marks possible, which can have a direct impact on their careers.

Recovery Ways provides the most cost-effective, accessible treatment for substance use disorder to as many patients as possible. They take a deeply holistic approach by thoroughly assessing patients and tailoring highly individualized treatments plans for them that can address each person’s full range of needs. Their programs include individual and group psychotherapy, family therapy, trauma therapies including PTSD work, Mind-Body Bridging, occupational therapy, pharmacotherapy, relapse prevention training, spiritual work, sensory therapy, and social reintegration. They introduce patients to a range of 12-steps based groups such as NA, AA, Refuge Recovery and SMART Recovery.
