Lincoln Community Foundation has announced the opening of the Ralph and Jean Cuca Scholarships. The Ralph and Jean Cuca Scholarships were established in 1998 to benefit graduating seniors from the public high schools in Lincoln. Ralph Cuca was an outstanding Lincoln citizen who believed strongly in family, community, and education. These scholarships programs are available to a graduating senior of a public high school in Lincoln, Nebraska. The applicants must demonstrate academic achievement in high school studies and financial needs.
They offer four awards annually to a deserving student. To qualify for these programs, you must have the first page of your FAFSA Report. These opportunities are available for U.S. high school seniors who live within Lancaster County, Nebraska, and will graduate from a public high school in Lincoln, Nebraska. Students must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher. The primary purpose of these scholarships is to help students fulfill their dreams and give them a chance to build a successful career.
Lincoln Community Foundation works with donors large and small, who all share a fondness for this community and want it to be successful forever. In 1910, the Lincoln Foundation was established to oversee and manage the assets of the Lincoln Institute located in Lincoln Ridge. The educational philosophy of the Lincoln Institute centered on the need for adequate leadership of African Americans in both schools and churches. They are an independently operated organization offering outside-of-school academic enrichment and college readiness programs for under-resourced youth throughout the Louisville Metropolitan area.

Who is Eligible?
To apply to this program, applicants should meet with following eligibility criteria.

- Applicants must have a FAFSA report.

This scholarship provides you with economic support for your further study. The participants will win a $1,500 cash prize. The award amount you will win from this program can be used to cover education, living, and child care expenses. Four awards will be given to winners by association.
Entries will be closed off this scholarship program on March 15, 2022. No applications will be accepted after the deadline.
