The Spectrum News 13 is proudly presenting you the worthy Project Weather Scholarship Contest to help you enhance your knowledge related to science and get some bucks to pay for your school. Candidates should be a legal resident residing in the FL counties of Brevard, Flagler, Lake, Marion, Orange, Osceola, Seminole, Sumter and Volusia who, as of the date of entry, are students in public, private, home or parochial schools in grade 12 for 2020-2021 school year, and have a GPA of at least 3.5 on a scale of 4.0.

Who May Be Eligible
Here are the requirements mentioned below before applying for the program:
- Applicant should be high school seniors in public, private or parochial schools who excel in science.
- Candidates should be a legal resident residing in the FL counties of Brevard, Flagler, Lake, Marion, Orange, Osceola, Seminole, Sumter and Volusia who, as of the date of entry, are students in public, private, home or parochial schools in grade 12 for 2020-2021 school year, and have a GPA of at least 3.5 on a scale of 4.0.
How to Apply
Only the eligible candidates are welcome to complete the application process. Candidates should download the rules pdf, scholarship application and essay application. Everything should be submitted before the deadlines. Any incomplete or invalid submission will not be accepted by the firm. Applicants must maintain the originality of the data being provided. Please complete the applications and submit it via mail to Spectrum News 13 Project Weather Contest, c/o Spectrum News 13, 20 North Orange Avenue, Orlando, FL 32801 prior deadline.
- 300 to 500 words essay on why you think you deserve this scholarship along with the application, and a letter of recommendation from a current high school teacher.
- A copy of your most recent high school transcript for proof of GPA is mandatory.
Nine students will be selected, one from each of the county. Each candidate will be awarded $1000. This prize money must only be used to pay the education-related expenses of candidates like tuition, books, room, fees and other associated costs. These scholarships are easy to access and encourage students to work hard towards their goals of achieving some excellence in science. These scholarships programs encourage students to do better in their careers.
The contest will close on January 6, 2021. Please submit all the requirements a few days prior to the deadline.
