Private Label Diversity in Cosmetology Scholarship

Are you interested in hairstyling? You have got excellent skills! Cosmetology School is excited to encourage the passion of all its students. Bold.org has also launched the Private Label Diversity in Cosmetology Scholarship for the black Hairstylist who plans to attain the Cosmetology School to encourage their passion. The number of Black representation in the beauty industry is significantly less the Cosmetology School is very expensive, and very few Black community students can afford it. To encourage more such students from the Black Community and improve their living, the organization has encouraged this scholarship to all the students.

Their mission is to encourage the students’ passion and encourage more black community students to the beauty industry. They believe that every individual is beautiful in their ways, and every single life on the earth matters as it is the creation of supernatural power. To spread this thought and encourage Black Lives Matter, the organization has come up with this incredible scholarship to improve the living of the black community.

The Private Label team works directly with several hairstylists and is aware of the challenges and expenses in getting a career started, especially for disadvantaged Black hair stylists. To create more equitable opportunities and a more diverse future in the beauty industry, the Private Label Diversity in Cosmetology Scholarship is pushing one Black Hair Stylist every year. The selection of the candidate will be made on the academic performance, essay, etc.

Who May Be Eligible

Please enrol through the eligibility criteria for the scholarship:

  • Applicants must be trying to pursue a career in the cosmetology industry.
  • The student must be an undergraduate high school student.
  • Applicants must be having good academic performance.
  • Candidates must submit the complete application.
  • The applicant must be a Black hairstylist who is planning to attend cosmetology school.

How to Apply 

Applicants are requested to fill the complete application form, submit all the required documents, send the application before the due date, and send the application through online mode. Please ensure that the application is sent before the due date as the late or incomplete application will not be considered.

Supporting Documents 

Students must submit the following documents:

  • Applicants must submit an essay.
  • Fellows must submit a video link describing who they are, why they are interested in cosmetology, and how this scholarship would help them through a journey. The applicant must submit the link to the video.
  • Students must submit the complete application.
  • Applicants must provide their most recent transcript copy.

Benefits 

The provided scholarship should only be occupied to pay the academic expenses of the students. The scholarship should only be consumed to pay the tuition fees, fees, book expenses, and other related expenses. The application procedure for this scholarship is too simple. $3,126 scholarship will be awarded to selected candidates every three months.

Application Deadline 

Students are requested to apply before the deadline, which is April 30, 2021; as of late or invalid, the application will not be accepted.
