The Charles Koch Institute has declared a fellowship as Poynter-Koch Media and Journalism for journalists and storytellers who are passionate about journalism and telling motivational and inspiring stories, who are hard-worker and self-motivated, and understand the importance of free expression and the role of media in society. These applicants can apply for the fellowship.
The applicants who will get selected will get a minimum stipend of $50,000 per fellow. With this, the fellow will get to discuss today’s most pressing journalist’s issues, study a world-class curriculum examining the crucial role of free expression and a free press in society, and so on. Overall, fellows will learn storytelling and career planning, submerge themselves in podcasting, analytics, graphic design, video producing, newsletter writing, media training, resume writing, having difficult conversations, and work-life chemistry.
