Laurels Graduate Award

The PSU Laurels Graduate Award was instituted to provide recognition and financial support to the best and brightest students and to enhance enrollment diversity. The program provides an award to competitively selected, academically meritorious graduate degree students in all fields. The Laurels Graduate Award is $5,000 per year for master’s students or $7,500 per year for doctoral students.

Monroe M. Sweetland Endowed Community Leadership Scholarship

Portland State University is proud to be the home of the Monroe M. Sweetland Endowed Community Leadership Scholarship. Applicant must be U.S. citizen or permanent resident and admitted to one of the graduate degree programs starting in fall 2018 with university regular status. The scholarship will give one or two awards of $1,500 each candidate.

The Elsa Jorgenson Award is given by Portland State University to give special recognition to full-time graduate students majoring in English, world language, and science. International Cultural Service Program (ICSP)

The International Cultural Service Program (ICSP) is a scholarship program for F-1 international students. ICSP students spend 90 hours each academic year volunteering at cultural events or giving presentations about their cultures to audiences at PSU and in the local Portland area. The amount of the ICSP award is $3,250 tuition remission per term in fall, winter, and spring of each academic year.

International Student Retention Scholarship (ISRS)

Portland State University (PSU) welcomes students from other countries to pursue higher education in Oregon. Applicants must be an Undergraduate student who has been enrolled at PSU for at least 3 terms and Have a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.75 (undergraduate) or 3.0 (graduate) on all Portland State University coursework. The scholarship amount is $1,500 per term or the total amount of tuition.

Keith Morden Scholarship

Portland State University is proud to announce the Keith Morden Scholarship Program. This award assists one qualified international student per year with that student’s final year of undergraduate studies at PSU. The application is by invitation only for students entering their senior year. Recipients receive $600 per term for their final 3 terms.

International Achievement Scholarship (IAS)

The Portland State University is glad to give you the International Achievement Scholarship is restricted to new undergraduate freshmen and transfer F-1 visa international admission applicants.
