Nissei ASB Machine is delighted to announce the Plastic Design & Story Award. They invite designers from around the globe to submit their design and stories that change our daily lives and break the norm. The competition is themed: Encase and Enfold Plastic Stories.
The challenge is to design a plastic container which provides thrill and joy in your daily lives and to show how your design goes beyond the traditional definition of a container, to enable unique and exciting experiences through the innovative use of plastic.
Nissei ASB Machine is seeking new designs and stories that pioneer a new future and possibilities, the design that leverages the material properties and characteristics of plastic containers and are consumer-centric.
Who May Eligible:
To eligible, Prospective applicants should be either:
- Professionals in the creative field, such as product designer, art director, and artists.
- Students aspiring to become designers and artists.
- Individuals and groups submissions are welcome.
- No restrictions on age, gender, or nationality.
- Must be able to communicate in either Japanese or English.
How to Apply & Competitions Rules:

Rules:
- Pre-register using the form on the website.
- Submit your work using the submission form, and include the presentation and the ID number given at pre-registration.
- Must be original work which is not already published.
- One submission per person or group, unless with written approval from the contest office.
- Page presentation, A3 size (Landscape, One-sided)
- Formatting and structure are not restricted; however, the title, concept description, and use cases (photographs, computer graphic, illustration etc.) must be included.
