To help students take a step closer to transforming their academic life, Polk Education Foundation is presenting wonderful scholarship programs. These funding opportunities are here to support students who are in the 11th and 12th grade. PEF Scholarships will provide financial aid to students who are struggling with their educational expenses and finding it challenging to complete their education. Awards, clubs, volunteer time, leadership roles and extra-curricular activities are to be considered at the time of selecting candidates. The application process for these funds is easy. All they need to do is to fill an online application form and attach an essay and send it to the given address.
Receiving required free money from these programs will help students continue their education and reduce the risk of dropout. Research shows that many students have to start working to meet their educational expenses which becomes an impediment to academic success. Working part-time impose the stress on students, and they end up graduating with unsatisfactory grades. Scholarships not only recognize their hard work but also prevent them from doing a part-time job. On the other hand, scholarships encourage students to become a philanthropist and give back to their society.
Polk Education Foundation was established in 1988 and servers as the fiscal agent and manager of many educational programs for Polk County Public Schools. It has been dedicated to enhancing educational programs for students with private and corporate funds. This foundation is operated by a volunteer board of directors made up of community, educational and business leaders. Moreover, it has been ranked no. 21 of the top 25 education foundations in the nation.
