The Yankton Area Chamber of Commerces, P.A.Y. scholarships will be given to graduating high school seniors in the Yankton area that want to pursue post-secondary education in the related fields of agricultural. This scholarship will recognize the local youth that are leaders in agriculture.
The P.A.Y. scholarships will provide local financial support for academic study and leadership development. Also, it Fosters the development of future leaders in rural America, agribusiness and production agriculture. The P.A.Y. scholarship wants to make education possible for all the students.
The Yankton Area Chamber of Commerce has created this fund to reduce the educational expenses on the students. The P.A.Y. scholarship was organized to help the eligible students who cannot afford the financial costs and want to make their career in this field. This scholarship will take some effort for the students’ bright future. So every student should be a part of this scholarship.

Who May Be Eligible
Take a look at the requirements to make sure about your eligibility:
- Students are high school seniors, graduating in the spring of 2021.
- Candidates will study agricultural-related courses at a two- or four-year college.
- Applicants should be attending high school in one of the specified schools: SD: Avon, Bon Homme, Freeman, Gayville-Volin, Irene-Wakonda, Menno, Scotland, Tripp-Delmont, Vermillion, Viborg-Hurley. NE: Hartington-Newcastle Public, Cedar Catholic, Wynot, Laurel-Concord-Coleridge, Niobrara-Verdigre, Wausa, Bloomfield, Crofton, Creighton, Santee, Randolph.
How to Apply
To be a part of The P.A.Y. scholarship, fellows should download the available application form. Then it must complete it with all the essential information and materials. Candidates must submit the application form before the deadline. Late submission will not be accepted. Candidates are responsible for the authenticity of the information they are offering.

Benefits
All the scholarships have different amounts. Selected winners will be paid out in two $1,500 increments of $3,000. The first $1,500 will be given in the second semester of your first year. The second $1,500 will be awarded aid in the second semester of your second year.
