For supporting the deserving students in their academic finances, Oklahoma State University come forward with several scholarship programs every year. OSU is pleasingly introducing a valuable program called OSU State Scholars Society. Do not worry about the scores this program focuses on your proven record of accomplishments and emotional maturity and native intelligence. If you are the Oklahoma resident planning to enroll in the OSU and the Honors College, then this scholarship is for you. Over 50 students will be selected out of which five will be awarded the scholarships, so wait no more applications and to be the ones.

The goal of the program is to encourage students who are highly talented and have considerable emotional maturity and native intelligence. The university understands that having a good academic record is a good thing, but it does not mean everything, even the students who are not much into academics but are intelligent should get the appreciation for their analytical thinking. This program aims to support the students to do better in their academics and encourages them to fault their careers the way they want. This program provides deserving students with all the needed financial support.

Who May Be Eligible?

If you are interested in this program, then go through the below-given requirements before applying for it:

  • Candidates should have a minimum of 3.8 high school unweighted GPA and 27 ACT or equivalent.
  • The applicant should be an Oklahoma resident admitted before the deadline.
  • The fellow should admit the OSU and the Honors College to be eligible.

How to Apply

If you are eligible for the requirements mentioned above, then you apply for the scholarship using the official website of the university. Please make sure you are admitted to the university, and if not, you can take the admission. Candidates need to fill the online application form, but before that login to the portal using your credentials if you don’t have, you can create your account. Up to 50 students will be selected as semifinalists out of which 20 finalists will be invited for a personal interview. After this interview, five candidates will be selected to give the award. The remaining finalists will also receive some amount.

Benefits

The selected students will receive a total amount of $74,500, while the remaining members will receive a total of $20,000. The selected scholars will get a one-time study abroad stipend too. This program will ultimately reduce the financial burden on the students and will help them to do excellent in their careers.
