OrangeSoft brings to you an “OrangeSoft Women in Technology Scholarship for the students enrolled in an accredited college or university for the academic year 2021-2022. The student must be pursuing a career in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) or other related fields. The following scholarship asks you to write a 500-word essay on any of the given topics. The candidate with the best essay will be awarded a one-time scholarship amount of $1,000. The winner is encouraged to spend the grant on self-education purposes to acquire new skills and knowledge necessary for professional growth.
The primary purpose of offering this scholarship is to expand the geographic range of cooperation by starting our Scholarship Program in the US, where the majority of our clients work. This scholarship will help high school or university female student to achieve their goal in their future career in a technical field. The following scholarship is to support a talented young techie who would like to pursue their dream to innovate our tech-first world. The deadline for the application submission is October 31, 2021.

Who Is Eligible?
Following are the eligibility requirements that need to be satisfied for participating in the following scholarship contest:
- Be a student who is currently studying at or has been accepted to an accredited Orangesoft Women in Technology $1000 Scholarship
- Be currently enrolled in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) degree-granting program OR demonstrate plans to pursue a career in the field of technology after graduation.
- Identify as a woman.
- Have a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
How To Apply?
The interested individuals are required to fill out the application form provided on the scholarship portal and submit it. Additionally, the candidate is required to write an essay on one of the following topics:
- What challenges do women in tech face?
What solutions to these challenges can you propose and why? - Why does the IT-sphere need women, and what impact do you believe you could make in the industry?
- How to inspire other women to choose a tech specialty?
Essay length: approximately 500 words.
Please note that only one essay per person is allowed. The applicants who share their essays with a link to the Orangesoft website on an online resource like a student blog on their university’s website, their website, or a blogging platform such as medium.com will receive higher priority in getting the scholarship.

In case you are the winner, you will be notified via email and be asked for proof of enrollment, your student ID, and your contact information so that they could coordinate the grant transfer.
Benefits
All the applications will be reviewed and judged, and out of all, the most deserving candidate will be chosen and be announced as the winner. The winner will be awarded a one-time scholarship amount of $1,000.
