The program is conducted by the OppLoans for the high school senior or current undergraduate or graduate students enrolled in a 2 or 4 years public or private college or university located in the United States.
The aim of designing the award is to celebrate achievement in many forms and honors those who create an opportunity for themselves and others. The deserving scholars will be getting financial assistance for their further educational career path.
OppLoans was founded in 2012 as a leading financial technology platform that provides accessible products and top-rated experience to credit-challenged consumers. They also originate or service personal installment loans in 38 states and the District of Columbia.
Who May Be Eligible?
To eligible for the OppU Achievers Scholarship, the candidates must be following all the eligibility criteria:
- Applicants must be enrolled full time in high school or at least part-time in college, graduate, professional, or trade school.
- Must possess a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0/4.0.
- Must be any citizen or resident of the United States, the District of Columbia, or United States territories.
- Must be a high school senior or current undergraduate or graduate students
- Must be enrolled in a 2 or 4 years public or private college or university located in the United States
How to Apply
The committee is receiving applications for the program through an online portal. The eligible students can fill out their required information through an online application form which is provided at the bottom of the official page.

- Must write in 500 words or fewer, about why you’re an achiever. How have you created an opportunity for yourself? How have you created the opportunity for others? Did you start a small business? Are you the founder of a community program? How did you overcome the odds and make your dreams—or the dreams of others—come true? Please include links to any relevant material that demonstrates your accomplishments.
Benefits
The OppLoans rewards a scholarship of $2,500 for current or future education costs. The awards are also made four times a year. The OppU Achievers Scholarship awards a total of $10,000 annually to students who have demonstrated outstanding achievement.
Application Deadline
The scholarship deadline for submission is September 30, December 31, March 31, and June 30 annually.
