OPIs’ “A Great Opera-Tunity” grant will be granted through the Beauty Changes Lives Foundation and is available to recently acknowledged or presently selected POC understudies in a nail technology program. The following grant aims at helping candidates with great potential to excel in the industry but is held back because of the lack of monetary assistance. It also works as an appreciation for the excellent students who are doing great in their knowledge. The scholarship will require the interested candidates to create a short video telling about who inspires them and why they deserve the following scholarship. The best candidates with the most meaningful and inspirational videos will be chosen and be awarded the grant.
To qualify, candidates should recognize as an individual of color.$36,000 in total will be granted to the 12 winning candidates for the whole year. $3,000 grants will be accessible during our 2021 and 2022 grant years. For the summer Season of 2021, four (4) $3,000 grants were granted from June 1, 2021, to August 31, 2021. For the fall Season 2021, another four $3,000 grants will be granted from September 1, 2021, to November 30, 2021, and for the winter Season 2022 also, the four $3,000 grants will be granted from December 1, 2021, to February 28, 2022, as for eligibility, the OPI “A Great Opera-tunity grant is available to recently acknowledged or as of now enlisted POC understudies in a nail innovation program prompting licensure in the U.S. or on the other hand Canada. Who is Eligible?
The OPI “A Great Opera-tunity scholarship is open to newly accepted or currently enrolled POC students in a nail technology program leading to licensure in the U.S. or Canada. To qualify, applicants must identify as a person of colour.
