OHHA is a trade / professional association based in Grove City, OH and was founded in 1954. As of 2019, they had $52 million in revenue and $47 million in assets. The mission of the Ohio Harness Horsemen’s Association is to preserve, protect, promote, and serve the entire Standardbred industry in Ohio and beyond.

Who May Be Eligible?

  • Applicants themselves or their family members are a member of OHHA are eligible.
  • The fellow should demonstrate financial need and satisfactory academic record.
  • This program is available to graduating high school seniors and/or students enrolled in a degree or certificate program.
  • Graduate students are not eligible to apply unless they are enrolled in a harness racing-specific graduate or professional-level program and provide complete details regarding the harness racing-specific graduate or professional-level program in conjunction with their application.

Only the eligible students should download the scholarship PDF and complete it with all the needed details. Candidates should make sure they provide all the required materials with care. Benefits

This scholarship provides enough financial assistance to pay the educational debts of the candidate. Scholarships must be used towards the cost and expenses directly related to coursework and a degree. The scholarship award will be paid to the recipient’s college or university directly. In some circumstances, the award will be paid directly to the candidate.
