Ocean Conservancy is organizing its annual photo contest 2021. Individuals above 18 years of age can participate. You need to upload a photograph with a title and your details on the official website to apply. The contest‘s theme revolves around marine wildlife or marine habitats and must be a click in a natural setting. Shots of pools, aquariums, or other captive locations will not be accepted. Photographs of divers touching or stressing marine wildlife will be invalid. The participation can be under four categories: Coastlines and Seascapes, Human Impact on ocean both in positive and negative ways, Marine Wildlife, and Up Close and Personal. The deadline to participate is June 13, 2021.
The winners under each category will be on a vote basis. Voting opens from June 14, 2021, to June 18, 2021. Yes, you can vote for yourself. The winning photographers will get a gift worth $150. This is an opportunity to showcase your creativity and imagination to the world. Winners get featured on the official blogs, Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter handles of the Conservancy. Who May Be Eligible?
The contest is open to everyone above 18 years of age. All the individuals are eligible to take part in the 2021 Ocean Conservancy’s Annual Photo Contest. Submit your photographs before June 13, 2021, to participate.
How to Apply?
To participate, answer the questions on the online application form and submit a photograph related to marine wildlife or marine habitats. The picture has to be in a natural setting. Every entry must be labeled with the photographer’s name, the photograph’s name, the date, and the subject’s location and must be an original piece of the photographer.
The contest will be in 4 categories, and you can enter via any of them. The category details are as follows:

- Human Impact
- Marine Wildlife
- Up Close and personal
The winning candidates under each category will get a gift worth $150. The winners will be decided based on votes. All the entries will get uploaded online, and the voting starts from June 14, 2021, to June 18, 2021. The Ocean Conservancy will upload the winning photographs on their blog, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram of Ocean Conservation. Also, you may get a chance to be featured on the 2023 calendar.
The last date to submit your photograph is June 13, 2021. No entries after the deadline will be valid.
