NBT is highly motivated towards their commitment to supporting deserving students in completing their education. If you love your manufacturing studies, then NBT loves you! A single application will make you eligible for three scholarships. Students who are currently enrolled in or entering a certificate or degree program which leads to a manufacturing career on a full-time basis are eligible to apply. Candidates should have a 2.5 GPA for trade, community, or technical colleges or a 3.0 GPA for universities.

The NBT knows how difficult it is for students to dealing with academic stress, along with managing their finances. For providing maximum support, these scholarships are designed by NBT. The foundation encourages students to expand their passion and the field of manufacturing. The program will provide substantial support through these scholarships and will reduce their burden related to debts. Who May Be Eligible?

The eligibility requirements for each scholarship is different. Few mandatory requirements are given below:

  • Students should be currently enrolled in or entering a certificate or degree program, which leads to a manufacturing career on a full-time basis (12 or more credit hours).
  • Candidates should have a 2.5 GPA for trade, community, or technical colleges or a 3.0 GPA for universities.

How to Apply

An eligible candidate should submit an online application form. Please make sure you submit all the required details and the documents through the application form. Students should submit the transcripts via mail to Nuts, Bolts, Thingamajigs, 2135 Point Boulevard, Elgin, IL 60123. All the applications are expected to be received before the deadline.

Supporting Documents

  • An online application.
  • Submit an official high school or college transcript from the school where you last completed a semester.
  • For grade verification, official transcripts must be sent by the educational institutions last attended or requested through an electronic transcript service such as Parchment or National Student Clearinghouse.

Benefits

Winning students will receive the amount of $3500. Scholarship award funds will be sent directly to the financial aid department of the school of the applicant. A scholarship award may be used to defray the cost of tuition, books (when purchased through college store), and school fees. Required educational equipment or tools may also be covered, but only if they are available for purchase directly through the college store.
