Noyce Teacher Scholarship Program

UTEP College of Science is offering undergraduate students an amazing Noyce Teacher Scholarship Program conducted for the year 2020. This scholarship is for students with a minor in secondary education. Applicants engaging in improving their teaching and communication skills should apply for this program.

Noyce Teacher Scholarship Program was started to encourage students to enroll in the teaching profession. This scholarship aims to increase teachers’ learning skills and help them provide their students with easy-to-understand and valuable teachings. This program allows teachers to do better in their profession.

UTEP Texas state school was started in 1914. The Texas State School offered a science course represented by the Department of Geology and the Department of Chemistry and Mineralogy. In 1931 many other courses were added, Department of Biological Sciences and Department of Physics and Mathematics were started for the students to enroll.

Who May Be Eligible?

  • Applicants must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident to be eligible for this scholarship.
  • Candidates must be enrolled in secondary education minor.
  • Students must be in the College of Science major to be eligible for this scholarship.
  • Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.75 or higher on a scale of 4.0.

Describe how the Robert Noyce scholarship will help and improve your teaching skills and contribute to reach your goals of becoming a certified teacher. Applicants have experienced any formal or informal teaching; they can add this information to the essay.
