NOVEC’s 2021 Scholarships for High School Seniors

Attention all the high school students in any of the five counties; Fairfax, Fauquier, Loudoun, Prince William, Stafford, and Manassas Park. You have an incredible chance to get your educational expenses paid! The NOVEC is ready to free you from expenses stress with their extraordinary NOVEC’s 2021 Scholarship. Fellows should be college-bound high school seniors whose home is currently served by NOVEC. Applicant must have a 3.5 grade-point average (GPA) on a minimum 4.0 scale.

The NOVEC or the Northern Virginia Electric Cooperative is willing to free the students from their educational expenses load with this exceptional scholarship program. The company understands that higher education is the right of every child, but the financial difficulties are the huge hurdle between the education and the deserving students, and for making it possible for the students, this scholarship has been created by the Cooperative.

Who May Be Eligible

Follow the needs given below before applying for the scholarship:

  • High school students in any of the five counties, Fairfax, Fauquier, Loudoun, Prince William, Stafford, and in the City of Manassas Park, are eligible.
  • Fellows should be college-bound high school senior whose home is currently served by NOVEC. Applicant must have a 3.5 grade-point average (G.P.A.) on a minimum 4.0 scale.
  • Candidates should demonstrate a wide range of participation and leadership in extracurricular activities, community service, and/or work experience.

How to Apply 

Eligible students should only begin with the application process. Please complete the online application form with mandatory details and materials. Late applications submitted will not be accepted by the Cooperative. You can submit your letter of recommendation and official transcript to Ashley Arnold, P.O. Box 2710, Manassas, VA 20108 for uploading, emailed to scholarships@novec.com. Supporting documents should be provided without any delay.

Supporting Documents 

  • Official transcripts, two letters of recommendation – one from a high school official (teacher, counselor, school coach, etc.) and one from a member of the community (church leader, Scout leader, club leader, supervisor, etc.), 400-word essay is on beauty-biographical, describing the experiences that have shaped your life, your present activities and aspirations for the future are mandatory.

Benefits 

Multiple students will be selected to award this $1500 scholarship each. The amount must only be utilized to pay the students’ educational needs like tuition, books, fees, and other associated costs. These scholarships help students to achieve their career goals facing all the difficulties. The program is kept extremely simple to access.

Application Deadline 

Applications for these scholarships will close on March 15, 2021. The Cooperative will reject incomplete applications.
