Who May Be Eligible
Please have a look at the following requirements before heading for the application process:
- Applicants must be pediatric cancer survivors, age 25 and under, who have been diagnosed by a physician as having had treatment for and survived cancer. Applicants who are selected as finalists will be asked to provide a medical verification form;
- Candidates should be high school seniors, high school graduates or current postsecondary undergraduates who plan to enrol in full-time undergraduate study at an accredited two- or four-year college, university or vocational-technical school for the entire upcoming academic year;
- Aspirants must have a minimum grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale (or the equivalent).
How to Apply
Interested students can apply through the online portal of Scholarship America where they will have to create an account or log in to access the online application form. Candidates are required to create an account with help of their own or legit email. Information provided by the candidates must be correct and complete.
Winners will receive $5,000 as award money. There are twenty-five scholarships currently available for students at Northwestern Mutual. Awards are renewable up to one year or until a bachelor’s degree is earned, whichever occurs first, on the basis of maintaining full-time enrollment and a cumulative grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale and continuation of the Program.
