The Topping Scholarship is offered by the Norman Topping Student Aid Fund (NTSAF) at the University of Southern California (USC). The study award is open for the academic session 2024/2025.
The funding program is designed to support students with significant financial need who demonstrate exceptional community awareness. While prioritizing first-generation college students and local area applicants, the scholarship is open to a broader range of candidates committed to community improvement through volunteerism. Renewable throughout the student’s tenure, the scholarship emphasizes academic achievement, full-time enrollment, participation in NTSAF events, and consistent community service.
Who is Eligible?
Applicants must be seeking full-time, on-campus admission to USC as freshmen, transfer, or graduate students. High financial need, as determined by USC Financial Aid, is a prerequisite. A strong commitment to community involvement and volunteer efforts is essential.
How to Apply?
In order to apply for this scholarship, and submit an online application, including autobiography responses addressing financial need, community awareness, and personal circumstances (500 words max each). Provide contact information for one recommender who will submit a letter of recommendation. Ensure all components are submitted by the specified deadlines.
