NIADA Foundation Regional Scholarships for High School Seniors

To promote and support the academic growth of youth, the NIADA Foundation is actively offering exciting scholarship programs. This foundation funds the education of up to four talented students each year. These scholarships are offered in June annually to candidates based on their achievements, combined with their leadership and community endeavours. Each selected applicants will be granted a handsome award to get into a college or university of their choice and pursue a course. To be eligible for this program, you should be classified as a high school senior during the current 2020-2021 school year and legally reside in one of the four eligible regions indicated under the eligibility requirements. You must display outstanding abilities in education, leadership and service in the community that will be a plus for you in this program.

Higher education is the key to a successful career and a bright future. An advanced degree improves chances to get hired by the leading employers and increases job options. Nowadays, students find many problems in funding their higher education and somewhere, and this is the main reason people don’t follow their dreams and drop out. Keeping this in mind, NIADA Foundation takes a little initiative in the form of a scholarship to support the talent of our country and make their way of success hurdles free. Who May Be Eligible

If you meet these requirements, you will be eligible for this program:

  • Applicants must be classified as a high school senior during the current 2020-2021 school year and legally reside in one of the four regions indicated above;
  • Candidates should have maintained an outstanding academic achievement record as reflected by an official high school transcript; and
  • Aspirants must demonstrate an aptitude for college work.
  • Eligible regions:
  • REGION I: Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, Indiana, Ohio, and Michigan. REGION II: Kentucky, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, and Alabama. REGION III: North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Iowa, Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Texas. REGION IV: Washington, Oregon, California, Nevada, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Utah, Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico, Alaska, and Hawaii.

How to Apply

Please complete an online application form that must be filled with all authentic information and send it to the given address with the required documents. All the information must be correct and complete. The authenticity of the information is the responsibility of the candidates, so make sure your information is right.   • Essay of 1200 words on the following prompt: Today’s Independent Dealers face unprecedented challenges due to ever-changing federal and local regulations due to the COVID-19 pandemic. If you had your dealership, how would you adapt your business model to adhere to the federal and state laws recently put in place to slow the spread of COVID? What business practices would you implement to limit exposure for your staff and customers? In the conclusion of your essay, please include your interest in the automotive industry and the role you wish to play in it.

There are four scholarships, each of $3,500, available to talented and deserving students. The award amount will be helpful in covering the cost of education and removing all the barriers presented on the way of students. It will make things easier for students during their learning journey and help them take their education to the whole new level.
