NFWL, formed in 1938, is serving as a forum for elected women from all across the country to be empowered through information and experience. The NFWL believes that women are the strongest leaders of our future and they need to be encouraged and empowered to come forward and lead the world with their knowledge and potential. The mission of NFWL is to provide strategic resources to elected women for leadership development, exchange of diverse legislative ideas, and effective governance through conferences, state outreach, educational materials, professional and personal relationships, and networking.
NFWL has a quite old tradition of supporting young women who have the potential to become the next generation leaders of our country. With over many years of experience, the NFWL has provided scholarships to various candidates from attending the top universities, finding non-profit organizations, and pursue their dream careers.
