In Westchester, Irvington Schools Superintendent Kristopher Harrison warned the community advising that there were eight recently confirmed COVID-19 cases.
The eight cases were accounted for in these schools:
- Dows Lane Elementary School: One;
- Central Avenue School: One;
- Irvington Middle School: Four;
- Irvington High School: Two.

As indicated by regional authorities, any individual who might have been in contact at Dows Lane has been reached and encouraged to isolation.
Harrison said that “because of the quickly expanding number of COVID-19 cases in the locale, the Irvington Union Free School District is arranging extra steps to oversee required isolating.”
“We ask that you email them regardless of whether the test results are gotten over a weekend or during a scheduled school excursion period,” Harrison expressed. “We stay careful in the execution of all (New York State) required health and security conventions, which incorporates the cleaning of our offices.
“Similarly as with all confirmed cases of the infection, the District has detailed the matter to the Department of Health.” He added.
