Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this prestigious scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Child or grandchild of a current North Dakota county employee or county official.
- Will be registered as a full-time undergraduate student in an accredited North Dakota university, college, or vocational/technical certification program.
- Previous NDACo Scholarship winners may not apply.

Scholarship Details
The NDACo Scholarship Fund places emphasis on various aspects, prioritizing them in the following order:

Application Process
Required Materials:
- Completed and signed application form.
- Resume or listing of work experience, volunteerism, awards/recognition, etc.
- Two (2) letters of recommendation, dated within the past 12 months.
- Personal statement about academic goals and expectations (limit 300 words).
- Essay answering the question, “How has your parent’s/grandparent’s experience in county government helped shape who you are?” (limit 300 words).
- Official transcript from the most recently attended high school or college.
