National Arts Competition

Are you a young visual, literary, or performing artist? Then this is your call! The National YoungArts Foundation is welcoming candidates to apply for their worthy National Arts competition. Young artists who are willing to work hard and follow their passion should be given full assistance and encouragement, which motivates them to do better and reach the heights of success. 15 to 18 years old young artists or those who are in grades 10 to 12 are eligible to apply for this program. Candidates should be United States citizens or have permanent resident to apply.

This competition will help bring out the best in young artists. It will encourage them to follow their passion and work hard to be the best in their major of art. The Foundation aims to support the artists and wants the world to know them for their fine art by highlighting their work through this competition. Young artists need to be given a proper direction and appreciation for their hard work and talent and to do so; Foundation has designed this program.

National YoungArts Foundation identifies the most accomplished young artists in the visual, literary, and performing arts, and provides them with creative and professional development opportunities throughout their careers. YoungArts acquired the landmark Bacardi tower and museum buildings in Miami, Florida in 2012 and has since converted the building into YoungArts campus the organization’s national headquarters. Located on the corner of Biscayne Boulevard and NE 21st street at the nexus of the Wynwood Arts District and Edgewater the campus supports expanded programming in Miami and across the country.

Who May Be Eligible?

Get a glance of eligibility requirements before applying for the competition:

  • Candidates should be a United States citizen or permanent resident or green card recipient.
  • Applicants should be in grades 10 to 12 or 15 to 18 years of age while applying.
  • Candidates should not have already been named a young arts finalist and previously attended national young arts week.

How to Apply

Interested candidates should complete the YoungArts application form before the Deadline. All the needed materials should be submitted through the same form. Applicants are requested to begin the application process a few days before the Deadline. Candidates can select their art fields to start the application. All the supporting materials should be submitted with caution to be considered for the program. Late or incomplete applications will let to disqualification.
