If your answer is yes, then you are lucky as NASA is currently giving early-career and more senior scientists a golden opportunity to cultivate their research skills through its Postdoctoral Fellowship. Applications are open for both the U.S. and international candidates who hold a PhD degree or equivalent.

Who May Be Eligible?
All the entrants are required to meet the given eligibility criteria:
- Candidates must have a PhD or equivalent degree in hand before beginning the fellowship
- Applicants must be U.S. citizens, Lawful Permanent Residents, and foreign nationals eligible for J-1 status as a research scholar.

To apply for this programme, applicants can register through NASA’s applicant portal. The portal will guide aspirants through the application process. All candidates will have to provide their contact information, citizenship, demographic information, employment, publication, education, and research experience.

Applicants will need to send the following documents with their application:
- Three letters of recommendation
- If candidates are applying as a postdoctoral fellow, then original transcripts must be sent by their university
- Research proposal addressing the goals and objectives described in the research opportunity
Benefits
The winner of this programme will enjoy a stipend starting at $60,000 per year, with supplements for high cost-of-living areas and certain academic specialities. Besides, they will also be provided with financial aid for relocation and subsidized health insurance and $10,000 per year for professional and programmatic travel.
