NACADA Research Support aims to promote research in academic advising and helps quality academic advising in institutions of the higher level of education to increase the educational development of students.
NACADA is an association of professional advisors, counselors, faculty, administrators, and students working to support the educational development of students. It gives a forum for discussion, debate, and the exchange of ideas about academic advising through numerous activities and publications.

Who May Be Eligible?
To be eligible, the applicants must read all the following criteria:
- Current NACADA members, including practicing professionals, graduate students, and faculty from any institution seeking support for research in educational advising, are fit to apply.
- Those not currently members of NACADA are required to engage in the scholarship of advising, explore the resources or publications NACADA has available, and consider membership.
How to Apply
Applicants need to upload a pdf of the original, signed by IRB letter when submitting the grant application. If the IRB approval process has not been complete, You must submit a pdf of the IRB application(s). IRB approvals can be issued after the grant application upload may be e-mailed as an attachment to nacada@ksu.edu with Research Grants in the subject line.
Benefits
The program will provide up to $5,000 may be awarded to support a single-year proposal. Multiple-year grants may also be awarded. The NACADA Research Support Program does not keep indirect or overhead costs assessed by institutions.
