Mississippi Excellence in Teaching Scholarship

The Mississippi State University is providing the Mississippi Excellence in Teaching Program to attract top-performing students who want to become mathematics, English, science, special education or elementary teachers in Mississippi. All applicants must have excellent leadership and service activities and a passion for teaching. Entering freshmen must have a minimum 3.5 GPA (on a 4.0 scale) and 28 ACT. Community college transfer students must have a minimum 3.5 GPA (on a 4.0 scale) and a 28 ACT.

Provost Scholarships

Mississippi State University Office of Admission is proud to announce you a Provost Scholarships. Non-resident students may also receive a scholarship to cover up to 100% of the out-of-state portion of tuition. Academic scholarship of $8,500 per year and a $4,000 scholarship for study abroad

Mississippi State University is pleased to announce a Dr. James R. Carpenter Scholarship. Students who are a child of an active or retired Mississippi State University Extension Service are considered for the Dr. James R. The Mississippi State University is pleased to offer the Eagle Scout Scholarship for Entering Transfer. Mississippi State University Office of Admission is offering a National Service Scholarship. Annual College Scholarship Essay Contest  

The Bird Dog Foundation, Inc. is now sponsoring an annual College Scholarship Essay Contest. The contest is open to all interested high school seniors (grade level 12) who are U.S. Citizens, who are preparing to enter freshman year of an accredited college or university, and who reside in Tennessee, Mississippi or Arkansas.  The 1st Place Award is $1,500 and the 2nd Place Award is $1,000.

Case Scholarship Program

The Casualty Actuaries of the Southeast (CASE) is offering up to two (2) scholarships of $1,500 each to college students in southeastern states for the upcoming academic year. It is open to all college students who will be continuing as full-time students for the academic year at a college or university in one of the following Southeastern states: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi.
