Minnesota Association of Townships Scholarships

All the junior students currently enrolled in a Minnesota public, parochial high school or private or a home study program having a plan of continuing their education at a vocational school, college or university shouldn’t miss this chance. The Minnesota Association of Townships or MAT is happily introducing their excellent Minnesota Association of Townships (MAT) Scholarships. Fellows must be an attending a private or public high school and planning to continue their education at any college, university or vocational school.

The MAT of Minnesota Association of Towns has designed this scholarship to help the deserving students with some financial support and to make their education easy and valuable. The association understands the difficulties students face while completing their education and for providing some relief to these students, the association has designed these scholarships. The association wants to reduce the financial burden of students and has purposely kept the process easy.

The Minnesota Association of Towns or MAT is a non-profit organization promoting the growth of Minnesota with their programs and the fine understanding of heritage. The association is the voice of over 9000 officers associated with them and conducts some researches or educational programs frequently to enhance and contribute towards the growth of the state and the people residing there. The association is deeply committed to the development of the residents.

Who May Be Eligible

Here are the requirements you should follow to be considered for the scholarships:

  • Candidates should be a Minnesota resident junior student’s currently enrolled in a Minnesota public, parochial high school or private or a home study program having a plan of continuing their education at a vocational school, college or university to be eligible.
  • Fellows should not be associated with the employees of members of the MAT.

Interested students should apply for the scholarship by downloading the application and completing it with all the required details and materials without any delay. Fellows should not provide any incomplete or invalid data to be considered for these scholarships. Late submissions will not be accepted by the association. Supporting Documents

  • 450 to 500 words essay answering the questions guided in the form, high school transcripts, and a letter of recommendation from the teacher; the counsellor is mandatory.

Benefits

Five students will be selected and awarded with the scholarships of $2000 each. The funds should only be utilized to pay the education-related expenses of the students like tuition, books, room or other associated costs. These scholarships encourage students to perform excellently in their careers and maintain good academic standing by working hard. These scholarships appreciate the passion for education.
