The military is a very important part of a country’s defence system. They not only protect people and regions from direct threat but also contribute to maintaining peace, law and order. Veterans are the first who face challenges and attacks of enemies and prevent them from making a bad impact on the country and its people and spreading terror. That is why they are called front line worriers. Armed forces serve the country wholeheartedly without caring about their life, health and family. No matter how high and low the temperature is, they remain active on borders to protect our country from bad influence and to make sure civilians are safe. Keeping these facts in mind, Hutto ISD has created a fantastic program called “Military Appreciation Art Contest”.
In honour of Military Family Appreciation Month, this program has been initiated. This competition is for all students. The theme of this year contest is “Salute to Service”. All contestants will have to prepare an artwork based on this theme. Submissions will be judged based on creativity, execution, and representation of the theme. The winners will be announced on November 11, and the winning entry will be used in honouring our military families and personnel. To apply, entrants will have to fill out an online application form with the right and complete information, and send it to the campus art teacher.
HUTTO ISD is a district that grants more than just a high school diploma through a wide range of advanced and college-level courses. This district has grown from over 1,000 students in one K-12 campus to more than 8,400 students at eleven campuses. The number of students is increasing continuously.
