Mike Rowe Works Foundation has generously created the Work Ethic Scholarship for the students who demonstrate the great interest to pursue a career in two years of college, vocational or technical school or technical institution they want to are aware of the importance of work ethic, personal responsibility, delayed gratification, and a positive attitude.
They aim to provide education to the students, who know the importance of education in today’s generation. And are familiar with how the education will provide them with the required job opportunities to live with dignity. The process of this scholarship is very simple for students to access.
Mike Rowe travelled to every state and enrolled to work with plumbers, electricians, steamfitters, pipefitters, bricklayers, farmers, fishers, and other skilled workers in the society. They were individuals who found opportunities where nobody thought to work. They were satisfied with their job and managed to figure out a positive work-life balance. Experiencing this situation the Mike Rowe thought of creating the Mike Rowe Foundation in 2008 to launch a national PR campaign for skilled labour.

Who May Be Eligible
Please go through the eligibility criteria:
- The applicant must be a high school senior.
- The fellow should need financial assistance for their education.
- The candidate must be involved in the approved program.
- The fellow should not be involved in a 4 years degree program.
How to Apply
The fellows should apply before the deadline attached with all the required documents. The submission should be made via the online process. The applicant should provide all the necessary documents; the applicant should only provide valid information in the application as the invalid information will not be considered.
Supporting Documents
The candidate must provide few mandatory documents:
- The fellow should submit the complete application.
- The student should submit the latest transcript.
- The individual should provide their most recent tax form.
- The student should provide two letters of reference.
- The candidate should provide proof of their school fee cost.
Benefits
The scholarship lessens a load of expenses on the student. Students should utilize this scholarship only to expend it on the educational costs for books, tuition fees, etc.; students are informed not to utilize the scholarship for anything other expenses. This scholarship will support the students to give full attention to the studies and not on academic finances.
