They aim to help students seek their dream by providing them with the required assistance. The purpose of the HSMAI Foundation Mike Dimond 2021 Scholarship Program is to provide financial support to students working hard to accomplish their goals and demonstrate their interest in hospitality.
Mike Dimond was well known as one of the top hotel marketing executives in the United States, demonstrating great service in the industry in top positions, including Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at the Broadmoor in Colorado Springs. Mike Dimond is a member of the HSMAI Hall of Fame and honoured as one of “The 25 Most Extraordinary Minds in Hospitality & Travel.” the HSMAI Foundation Mike Dimond 2021 Scholarship was established by his family to expand and enhance the educational opportunities available to hospitality students interested in following in his footsteps.

Who May Be Eligible
Students are requested to go through the eligibility criteria before applying for the application:
- The student should demonstrate hospitality work experience.
- The student must have a good academic performance.
- The student must be fully admitted as a student in an accredited post-secondary hospitality degree program.
- Students must intend to pursue a career in hospitality sales, marketing, or revenue optimization.
How to Apply

Students should not make any errors in the application. Lately, received applications will directly lead to rejection. Late submissions will not be considered.

- The applicant must submit the complete application with a resume.
- The student should submit proof of acceptance in an accredited degree program.
- The fellow must provide Current transcripts that will be required from finalists.
- Students must provide a personal essay.
Benefits
The scholarship will reduce the load of the expenses of students. The amount should only be utilized to pay the freight of student’s expenses like Tuition Fees, Fees, Books, and other student requirements. This scholarship motivates the students to achieve their goals and overcomes obstacles. The application process for scholarships is too easy. Two students will be awarded a $1500 scholarship each.
