The CSUN Financial Aid is providing passionate students access to higher education through applying for its Middle-Class Scholarship Award 2020-2021 at California State University. The program is open for all bachelor’s degrees and master’s degree students who are California residents or eligible AB 540 students.
The program encourages first-generation families in their pursuit of higher education and support students with empathy and helps civic responsibility, accountability, and financial well-being from a holistic approach.
California State Northridge University is a public university. It is based in the Northridge neighborhood of Los Angeles, California. CSUN has been consistently known as having one of the best film schools as well as music schools in the U.S. and the world.
Who May Be Eligible?
The applicants must include the below requirements to be applicable:
- All applicants must be a California resident or eligible AB 540 student
- Students must have a file a FAFSA or California Dream Application by the March 2 deadline
- All students must be admitted at least half-time
- Students must meet Satisfactory Academic Progress standards
- All applicants must not be in the default on a student loan
- Candidates must not be incarcerated
How to Apply
Students may log in to their (WGS) Web Grants for Students account to apply for their Middle-Class Scholarship application California Aid Report (MCSCAR). The MCSCAR does not have to be provided to CSUN. Late or incomplete applications will be void.
Benefits
First Generation Scholarships are awarded each year with the award amount of $1,500. This award may be used for the Tuition Charges or the Receipt of Tuition Waivers, and additional federal, state or institutional financial aid can changes to income after you have been awarded
Application Deadline
The process of application submission will end on September 22, 2020.
