The Texoma Community Center has organized an Art Contest for all age categories. The 2022 Contest has come up with the theme “The World Through My Eyes.” Participants have to make their artwork using their talents and skills and feature what mental health means to them. We can see Physical strengths, weaknesses, pain, happiness, etc. This can be seen with our eyes. Still, we cannot see mental pain, stress, depression, and kind of feelings, and many people cannot even accept and believe that their mental health isn’t okay and don’t even speak about it, and this can lead them to really serious problems. So, it is necessary to keep our mental health healthier in order to live a better life. In this Contest, Students will get to know about this, and also they will get an opportunity to feature their thoughts in the form of Art.
The participants who represent their best artwork will receive some special prizes. Also, their artwork will be displayed on the TCC Facebook page, website, and lobbies and will be featured throughout the community on the occasion of Mental Health Awareness Month, which is on May 2022. This Contest will help participants to expand their knowledge and thoughts about mental health and will also get to convey them to the people so that people can understand the importance of it.
The Texoma Service Center was founded with the purpose of strengthening the resiliency and support recoveries as well as providing effective treatment and improving the quality and impact of care.
