Who is Eligible?
MassBay scholarships are available to a wide range of students, and eligibility is based on various criteria. To qualify, applicants must be enrolled for classes by the application deadline of January 5, 2024. How to Apply?
To embark on the scholarship application journey, students need their MassBay student identification number and MassBay email address. The application process is facilitated through Academic Works, accessible via MassBay’s single sign-on platform, OneLogin. The first step is to complete or update the General Application, which automatically considers applicants for over 20 available scholarships based on the information provided and existing academic data.
While most scholarships are determined through the General Application, a few may require additional information. Students will notice an “Apply” option next to these specific scholarships in Academic Works. It’s important to understand that this doesn’t imply automatic qualification; rather, it indicates the need for further details to assess eligibility. Conversely, the absence of an “Apply” option doesn’t exclude consideration for other scholarships; it simply means no additional information is required beyond the General Application and enrollment system data.
Benefits
MassBay scholarships offer financial support to students, helping alleviate the costs associated with pursuing higher education. The funds are disbursed as reimbursements after students have enrolled and paid their semester bills. Application Deadline
For the Spring 2024 semester, scholarship applications open on November 10, 2023, and close on January 5, 2024. All decisions regarding scholarship awards will be communicated by January 19th. It’s crucial for students to submit complete applications and be enrolled for classes by the deadline to be considered for spring semester scholarships.
