Students in grades 6 to 8 (Division I) and 9 to 12 (Division II) are eligible to apply for the 2020 Maryknoll Essay Contest. How to Apply
Only eligible candidates are welcome to apply for the contest. Candidates should submit the online application form with all the necessary details. Fellows should adequately answer all the questions in the application. Other supporting materials must be submitted with concern. Fellows should maintain the originality of the assignment they are submitting. Candidates can also mail their essays by attaching it to an entry cover sheet.
Five hundred thousand seven hundred and fifty words of an essay describing what you think the pope means by “a culture of love.” What signs have you seen creating a culture of love during these exceptional times? How are you going to build your civilization going forward?
Prizes will be divided into three division, and students will be awarded different amounts as given below:
- 1st place prize: $1000 per division.
- 2nd Place prize: $300 per division.
- 3rd Place prize: $150 per division.
Fellows should submit their entries online before November 16, 2020. The organization will reject late applications.
