Marlin L. Johnson Memorial Scholarship for Incoming Freshmen

Aberdeen Gun Club is offering a scholarship in honour of their late member Marlin L. Johnson. Marlin was an avid hunter, and he enjoyed the company of young folks. He showed interest in teaching them shooting skills. In his memory, Aberdeen Club has decided to grant a scholarship to a high school senior who is a registered active member of their club. This scholarship is available to the students attending a university or technical school within the state of South Dakota or neighbouring regions.

Aberdeen Club came forth with this scholarship to help students with their finance in one of their late members’ memory. Students receiving this scholarship can forget about their financial issues. The amount of scholarship will carry off the financial burden that they carry. With no financial stress, students can focus on their academic or cultural development without any obstacles.

The Aberdeen Gun Club Inc. aims to preserve the sport of trapshooting in the Aberdeen area. The Aberdeen Gun Club is committed to promoting firearms safety education by making shooting sports available and accessible to all. The club encourages young shooters and offers entertainment and leisure activities to the citizens of their community.
