Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Marianne Linanne Scholarship, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited U.S. nursing school in Fall, Winter, or Spring of the Aug/Sept 2023-May/June 2024 school year.
  • Full-time or part-time status is accepted.
  • Must be pursuing LPN, RN, BSN, MSN, or DNP; high school students are not eligible.

Selection Criteria

The selection process involves the evaluation of:

  1. Essay: Your response to the question, “What Can Nurses Do to Promote a Positive Respect for Life?”
  2. List of Academic Achievements: Highlight your accomplishments.
  3. Leadership and Participation in Pro-Life Activities: Showcase your commitment to the cause.

A panel appointed by the board of directors will judge applications, with the winning essay featured in the NAPN newsletter, PulseLine.

  3. Attach the required documents, including the essay and a letter of recommendation.
  4. Submit the application by February 14, 2024.

  1. Download the application form from the NAPN website.
