How to Apply
To apply for this scholarship, candidates are required to complete the application form. Students should download the pdf and complete it with all the mandatory details and materials. These completed applications or packet should be sent to Soroptimist International of Helena, Scholarships, and Awards, PO Box 1216, Helena, MT 59624. Late or incomplete applications will not be considered for the scholarship. All the materials should be adequately provided.
- Provide a letter of recommendation from three adults:
Two from teachers, administrators, or counselors One from an adult not related to the applicant or involved with the school should be submitted.
- Counselor verification of academic standing must be completed and signed should be provided.
- Submit a typewritten 250-word essay explaining why you want to attend a Montana college or university.
A $3000 scholarship will be awarded to the selected student. One award of $1500 for freshman year and $1500 for the sophomore year. It encourages the students to do better in their academics and provide them with all the needed support. It appreciates the students who work hard and maintain an excellent academic record. This program makes the educational journey easy for the candidate. The amount should be used to pay expenses like tuition, books, fees, and more.
