Maple Grove Lions is an honour to present its new and exciting Dick Reimer Memorial Scholarship Program. This foundation is actively offering one scholarship of $5,000 and twenty scholarships of $1,000 each to graduating high school seniors in the class of 2021 or first-year students currently attending an accredited trade or vocational school. Students are invited to apply for the academic session of 2020-2021. Aspirants who have resided in the City of Maple Grove for their senior year of high school are strongly encouraged to apply.
Grade point average will not be considered as the main factor in awarding the scholarships. These scholarships intend to provide the needed fund to talented students to cover their educational expenses. With these amazing scholarships, the foundation wants to make it easy and affordable for students to gain an education in their chosen field. The organization believes that no student has to leave or compromise with their educational dreams, and that is why it has created these funding promises that assist students in their academic pursuit.
Maple Grove Lions was chartered in 1963 and is working a member of Lions International, a service organization. It has more than 1.4 million members in 43,000 clubs in over 185 countries. This foundation is considered to be the largest service organization in the world. It has been dedicated to supporting the activities of Lions International and also working very actively within the Maple Grove area donating money and time to further our community and make it a better place to live and work.

Benefits
