LWSD is organizing a Teen Startup Challenge in which all the high school students of the Lake Washington District are invited to participate as individuals or teams. The challenge is designed to promote the student’s start-up ideas and venture creation. For participation, you have to submit a business plan in the pre-determined format. The challenge provides the opportunity for high school students to win prizes and learn from local business leaders. Finalists will present their ideas and business plans and receive valuable feedback from successful professionals. The last date for applying is September 21, 2021.
The contest aims to boost the morale of young and budding minds who are the future of tomorrow. The winning students/teams will be featured at Investor Sharks Northwest, will receive feedback and advice from some of the biggest venture capitalists and angel investors in the Puget Sound Region, and will be awarded prize money from the Kirkland Chamber of Commerce. It is an excellent opportunity to gain the skills of an entrepreneur and get yourself molded according to the requirements of the work. Additionally, advice from professionals will help you achieve a whole new perspective on the world and build a better future for yourself.
