Law Office of Ronald D. Weiss, P.C is delighted to announce Long Island Attorney Ronald D. Weiss College Scholarship Contest. This contest is open to the students who are currently enrolled in a college or university or planning to enroll as a freshman for the 2019-2020 academic year.
Mr. Weiss is offering incoming and existing college students an opportunity to win $2,500 college scholarship to help a new generation meet their educational costs.

Who May Eligible:
To be eligible, the applicants must be following all the given criteria:
- Candidates must be eligible to apply for the scholarship, applicants must fit the following criteria:
- Be currently enrolled in a college or university or planning to enroll as a freshman for the 2019-2020 academic year.
- Be in good academic standing with your current educational institution.
- If under 18, have the permission of your parent or guardian to apply.
How to Apply & Competition Rules
In order to apply, applicants must submit an essay to scholarships@ny-bankruptcy.com
Rules:
- The applicants
must submit an essay on the following topic:
- “Current bankruptcy law requires that a debtor go through two (2) mandatory credit counseling courses (usually online or by phone) one before the filing of the bankruptcy case and the other at the end of the case before the debtor receives a discharge; are these course both necessary and should they be continued mandatory requirements for a bankruptcy case in their present form.”
- Submissions should be in Microsoft.Doc or.Docx format and should be between 500 and 1000 words.

- The applicants have an opportunity to win $2,500 college scholarship.

The application of deadline will be closed on April 21, 2019.
