Live Like Lucas Scholarships for High School Seniors

Did you do something great in the community? And still, trying to do something remarkable? Here is a Live Like Lucas Scholarship for you. The program continues to make a difference in young people’s lives by rewarding scholarships to decrease the financial burden of the students for high school education. Live Like Lucas Foundation is constantly putting their efforts and trying to give their best by providing scholarships to deserving students.

The Live Like Lucas Foundation exists to spread joy, kindness, and happiness in the students. They aim to provide help to students and reduce their worries and make them simple more brightly. They motivate to support deserving students through this scholarship. They believe in a bright future for the students and are well aware of their requirements daily. Live Like Lucas Foundation is making it possible for having higher education without any worries. The Foundation is pleased to offer four (4) $1,000 scholarships for high school seniors who have impacted the special needs community.

Lucas Harrison was a special needs child that attended numerous elementary and junior high schools within Katy ISD. Sadly, Lucastragically passed away in July 2020, but the Foundation wants to honour his life and legacy through the Live Like Lucas Foundation. He loved everyone unconditionally, and the Foundation seeks to continue to spread this love throughout their community.

Who May Be Eligible

Kindly Check some compulsory requirements for being eligible for this scholarship:

  • The candidate demonstrated outstanding contributions to the unique needs community. Examples include volunteering in Special Buddy programs, worked at a special needs facility, and community involvement with special needs children and/or adults.
  • A fellow who plans to go into special education as a career, a clearly defined career goal in special education to teach grades K – 12.

The application should be filed electronically. All required information should fill them appropriately. Essential documents should be attached to the application. Applicant should submit an application via website or mail Attn: ‘WMBC Scholarship’ at Livelikelucas0420@yahoo.com before the deadline.

Supporting Documents

  •  Application with all other data and separate scholarship documents must be provided.
  • Fellows must provide all the necessary documents with the application, which makes them eligible for this scholarship.
  • Applicant must submit Typed essay (1 page) describing how he/she contributed to the unique needs community and how it affected them
  • Candidates must submit letters of recommendation and transcripts.

Benefits

The scholarship will decrease the load of the expenses of students. The amount should only be used to pay the freight of students’ costs like Tuition Fees, Fees, Books, and other student requirements. This scholarship motivates students to achieve their goals and overcomes barriers. This fund will help students to study with full concentration and give their best in academics.
