The Lilly Endowment, Community Scholarship Program, administered by the Independent Colleges of Indiana is open for Indiana resident students attending public or private Indiana four year college or university. All applicants must have a high school diploma from an Indiana high school accredited by the State Board of Education or by a national or regional accreditation agency to apply.
The sole purpose of designing the grant is to enhance the level of educational attainment in Indiana. It aims to increase the awareness of the beneficial rules Indiana community foundation can play in their communities and encourage efforts of Lilly Endowment Community Scholars to engage with each other and with state leaders to improve the living standards in Indiana.
Lilly Endowment Inc. founded in 1937 by J.K Lilly, Sr. and his sons Eli and J.K. Jr for the promotion and support of religious educational or charitable purposes. The primary purpose behind the foundation of the community is to improve the character of the American people and enhance their lives morally and ethically for the ultimate growth of the country.

Who May Be Eligible?
The candidates should check the below-given criteria before applying
- Candidate should be the resident of Indiana
- Candidates should be attending any public or private, Indiana four year university or college accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools
- The candidates should have a high school diploma from an Indiana high school accredited by the State Board of Education or by a national or regional accreditation agency that is recognized by the State Board of Education
How to Apply
Eligible students can apply for scholarships, awarded annually by different counties. Candidates can apply for any scholarship from the numerous counties with all the details and the supporting documents asked for the grant. Applications after the deadlines won’t be entertained.

Benefits
