Lavent Law, P.A. is glad to offer a $3,500 grant to a current or hopeful migrant law understudy. The following scholarship has been started with the purpose to support the migrants and help them face all kinds of monetary challenges they face when moving to a new city or country.” As a foreigner, I understand the extraordinary difficulties that one faces. I have been enormously lucky with my legitimate practice and needed to reward a meriting worker law understudy or hopeful law understudy.” – Boris Levent. This honor will be founded on an essay going from 500 – 1000 words on a subject of applicants’ choice.

Now, as for qualification, the candidate must be a U.S. resident or a permanent resident of the United States and should be an immigrant (not born in the world in the U.S.). The candidate should also be a full-time understudy (evidence of enlistment will be needed before the grant is disseminated), and must go to graduate school or college in the U.S.. the candidate must exhibit monetary need to be able to get this grant. The one candidate who most satisfies the given eligible requirements and who writes the best essay will be considered as the winner of the scholarship and be awarded the cash prize of $3,500.The applications for the following scholarship are due on November 1, 2021.

Who is Eligible?

The eligibility criteria for the following scholarship is as follows:

  • Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident,
  • Must be an immigrant (not born in the U.S.),
  • Must be a full-time student (proof of enrollment will be required before award is distributed),
  • Must be attending law school or college in the U.S.,
  • Must demonstrate financial need,
  • Must submit essay and transcript from current institution.

In order to apply for the following scholarship, the interested individuals are expected to write an essay ranging from 500 – 1000 words on a topic of their choice.

  • Has to be an immigrant impacted your decision to attend law school? If yes, why?
  • Why do you want to practice law?
  • What adversity have you had to overcome to obtain your goal of attending law school?
  • How will you use your law degree to help others?

The applicants will have to fill out the submission form and submit the required documents in PDF format
