The program will provide financial assistance for medical students pursuing medical professions in the state of North California.
The purpose of providing this scholarship is Kaiser Permanente’s social mission, research, clinical expertise, and leadership efforts. This will help future physicians to know about their potential that will help in their studies and academic career.

Who May be Eligible?
The applicants must consider these aspects before applying –
- Be a current third-year medical student in good academic standing who expects to graduate in the spring of 2022
- Interested in seeking a residency in Northern California
- Attend an accredited medical, osteopathic, or podiatric school
- Scholarship recipients will be encouraged to participate in a one-month clerkship at a Kaiser Permanente facility in Northern California during their fourth year of medical school.
How to Apply
Candidates are required to apply to keep the below clauses in mind that include, complete and submit the online application. Candidates selected for final consideration will be invited for a phone interview in February 2021. Incomplete applications will not be considered.

- Two letters of recommendation: one letter from a medical, osteopathic, or podiatry school professor/clinician and one letter describing/supporting your work in under-served communities.

Benefits
The selected student will receive a $5,000 scholarship. This scholarship will provide an organized educational program with the guidance and supervision of the resident. This will also upgrade the resident’s professional and personal development.
