The Garden Club of Rogers is passionately welcoming candidates to apply for their extraordinary Keeta Arnold Memorial Horticulture Scholarship. Fellows should be an undergraduate student enrolled for a minimum of 12 graded hours of classes or graduate students enrolled for a minimum of 9 graded hours of classes to be eligible. Candidates must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.25 (on a 4.0 scale) and the College/university must be accredited and listed on the official website of the U.S. Department of Education.
The Garden Club of Rogers is dedicated to helping the students who need it for their higher education. The club wants the students to help make most of their careers through this scholarship. The program is extremely easy to access. The club initiates different programs to enhance the Progress of the students and reduce their financial burden with the funds. The club understands that completing higher education requires a lot of financial support and for providing them, this program is designed.
The Garden Club of Rogers is dedicatedly working towards the development and growth of the people. The club is passionate towards stimulating the knowledge and the love of gardening among their members and others in the Rogers area. The club is striving hard for the growth and Enhancement of area through their different initiative. The club creates different programs for helping society grow unconventionally towards their dreams and an impeccable growth.

Who May Be Eligible

- Fellows should be an Undergraduate student enrolled for a minimum of 12 graded hours of classes or a Graduate student enrolled for a minimum of 9 graded hours of classes to be eligible.

- Applicant should be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Legal Resident of the United States who is a legal resident of the State of Arkansas to be eligible.
- Students should be majoring in any of the following:
Agronomy, City (Rural & Urban) Planning, Agriculture Education, Plant Pathology/ Science, Floriculture, Wildlife Science, Horticulture, Forestry, Landscape Design, Botany, Biology, Environmental Conservation (i.e. Engineering, Law, etc.), Environmental Concerns (Management: Environmental, Horticulture Resource/Environmental Behavior, Land Management and other related or allied subjects, Habitat or Forest/System Ecology
How to Apply
Only the eligible and interested candidates should start with the application process. Fellows should apply for the scholarship by submitting all the required information and materials without any negligence. Any late or incomplete applications submitted will not be accepted by the candidates. Fellows should not submit applications after the deadline. - Official academic transcripts, a letter with emphasis on all horticulture-related activities/clubs, and three letters of recommendation are mandatory.
Benefits
One student will be selected and awarded with the amount of $1,500. This amount should only be utilized to pay the educational expenses of the candidates like tuition, books, room, and other associated costs. These scholarships motivate students to do better in their careers by maintaining a good academic record.

The last date to apply for the program is January 1, 2021. No late applications will be accepted.
