John and Abigail Adams Scholarship

Are you involved in Massachusetts state college or university? Here is the Office of Student Financial Assistance, assisting you with the finances through John and Abigail Adams Scholarship, for all the undergraduate students. Here the scholarship will be awarded on the basis of the grade 10 MCAS test and score in the Proficient in the field of Maths or English language.

The Office of Student Financial Assistance mission is to promote and enhance access to higher education by providing quality student financial aid information and services. And to ensure that they have an opportunity to enrich their lives and contribute to the economic development and social progress of the state.

OSFA is committed to the management and oversight of all state-funded financial aid programs and advises the Board of Higher Education about financial aid policy matters of concern to the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Along with the financial aid responsibilities, OSFA is the principal agency for promoting access to higher education through early awareness initiatives that foster the recognition of college as a viable post-secondary option and the availability of financial aid resources to support the students and families to meet college costs.

Who May Be Eligible

Please know the eligibility criteria before applying:

  • The fellow should have the Advanced category on either the Mathematics or the English Language Arts section of the grade 10 MCAS test and score in the Proficient or Advanced category on the second subject.
  • The applicant should have a combined MCAS score on these assessments that ranks in the top 25% in their school district.
  • The applicant should be US Citizen.
  • Fellows should be enrolled full time in a certificate, associate’s or bachelor’s degree program at an eligible institution.
  • The applicant must have complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid.

How to Apply

The fellow should submit the complete application before the due date. The applicant should submit all the mandatory documents. All valid information should be mentioned in the application.

Kindly take note that an invalid or incomplete application will not be accepted by the organization.
